Professional Land Surveyor · KwaZulu-Natal
Boundary beacons, site surveys, subdivisions and setting out, by a registered Professional Land Surveyor.
Services
From a single boundary peg to the layout of a new township, the work falls into six kinds.
Your corner beacons found, replaced and certified.
Diagrams framed for lodgement with the Surveyor-General.
The site as it stands, contoured and ready to design on.
The design marked on the ground, then checked once built.
Survey support for civil and structural work.
Accurate control, tied to the national survey system.
Which survey do I need?
A beacon relocation. Each corner is found or re-placed and flagged, and you receive a beacon certificate.
A topographical survey: contours, levels, buildings, services and boundaries, as a CAD drawing they can design on.
A subdivision or consolidation. The new boundaries are surveyed and a diagram is framed for lodgement with the Surveyor-General.
Setting out. The corners and levels from the approved plans are marked on site.
A height, slab or as-built certificate, confirming what was built matches the approved plans.
A servitude or lease survey, with a diagram framed for lodgement with the Surveyor-General.
How it works
The erf number and suburb, or the street address, and what you need the survey for.
A fixed quotation listing exactly what will be surveyed and what you will receive.
The Surveyor-General's diagrams are researched first, then the site is surveyed with GNSS and total station.
Checked drawings and signed certificates by email, and diagrams framed for lodgement with the Surveyor-General.
Where we work
Most work is within an hour or two of Durban, with a great deal of it in the residential estates of the North Coast and Upper Highway. Projects further afield, elsewhere in South Africa and in neighbouring countries, are taken on by arrangement.
Tools
The coordinate software used on these surveys is written in-house and is available to other surveyors. RA Converter runs in the browser, on a phone in the field or a desktop in the office, and your coordinates are processed on your own device.

The erf number and suburb is the most useful thing you can send. A street address works too.
